The FindingPotential service launched in November 2009, since then we have set-up over 1500 organisations on our systems. We actively seek feedback to make sure the service is meeting users’ needs and lives up to the promises made on this website.

I have been a user of SHL OPQ products for many, many years. Needless to say I was delighted to receive a mail from Jayne Bright offering a "free" service. I was obviously VERY sceptical, but decided to spend a few minutes going through the motions of registering. After a few seconds I had received the confirmation email and went on to look at the site. My initial impressions were very favourable, so I decided to test myself, I knew what results to expect, having done a number of tests over the past 30 odd years in my profession. When I got the report I was more than impressed. I can get the same out of this free assessment as I do from the OPQ (and I am not trashing OPQ - on the contrary, I have used them for 15 odd years), but I actually prefer your report. It is clearer, concise and I like the way you have structured it. So far I have assessed around 12 people to get a good feel for the product and how I will give feedback. The little "booklets' that you provide are very good and useful. If I have one suggestion, it would be to elaborate on these "books" into something a little more meaty, but then I suppose your time is spent developing the tests as opposed to the supplementary documentation. I am now looking at ways at expanding the usage of the assessment in my organisation. I have also mentioned this to all my colleagues in the profession when we have seminars etc. One question that I am sure everyone asks - why is it free? Is it so as to get critical mass to do your validation studies, or have you really taken over from the Pope? Either way, I do not mind. Your product is great and I hope to be using it for many years to come.
We have found the FindingPotential tool to be both very easy for us to administer and for candidates to use. It adds value to our recruitment and selection process and takes costs out. The reports are prepared immediately and produced in a highly professional way that are easy to follow. We have a long term relationship with Talent Drain, who provide a number of excellent services to our organisation. We use both their Reflections and On-Boarder products, which provide valuable information to develop our organisation strategy.
I have made extensive use of the Finding Potential service. I am VERY impressed with your Assessment Manager function. Have used SHL's and this is much more user friendly. Also VERY impressed with your report outputs. Will definitely be using your tools. I just cannot believe it is free…where is the catch?! (I'm a cynic by nature). But then if the fee is reasonable I will be willing to pay for such a tool. As a free service the finding potential questionnaire and reporting is excellent and has been instrumental within the HR Team to assess potential new employees, their attributes and where we as a company can develop the team and engage new employees who share the company's vision and key drivers.
I think the FP suite would be ideally suited as part of initial screening of candidates for higher level Leadership & Management Development Programmes.

The reports are of a high quality and quite professional. The language used in the reports is simple and easily understood. The idea of sending a personal report immediately to candidates assessed help eliminate all the bad feelings and suspicions about why the candidate is asked to complete an assessment.
Excellent, quite detailed but easy to understand.
Reports are very good, in this moment we are using as pre interview preparation tool, and we are checking validity of results. Till now results are showing clear preferences for candidates to behave in certain manner, as shown in results.

I think the reports are brilliant and keep asking myself how you can offer all of this for free - development of tests tends to be expensive, as well as the creation of a delivery website. There doesn't seem to be a catch though.

Excellent. My head of the assessment centre is a former senior manager with Thomas International and so was somewhat sceptical at first, but has been won-over by the style and depth of the FP reports – we particularly like the Leadership Styles Report.

The system is very user friendly and so are the reports. None of the candidates I assessed ever called to say they are struggling to either log in or understand the instructions. That to me is proof to how user friendly it is.
Easy and simple to use system
The system is very intuitive.
Really like the way reminder emails are sent automatically each week to prompt response. Seems to work well as I rarely have to chase.
I have found the system and assessments very easy to use and the support by the team has been very efficient and helpful. I have noticed that if the individual is truthful when completing the questions, the report comes very close to the truth about that individual proving a very high face validity. The feedback I have received from those who completed have also been that the test is measuring up to some personality tests. One example I can quote was this comment from one of the candidates: I have taken other personality tests and it is scary how this test tell the truth about me, which means I cannot deny these things any more, I just have to start working on some of the things. Having worked with a few internet based assessments and having used their reports I find your service measuring up and outclassing some of them especially in the language and definition of concepts and constructs measured.
What you say you deliver is what so far you have delivered.
